It’s where the characters from my books take over my blog and social media accounts so you can get to know them. Happening every Wednesday until launch day (I think…they’re my characters but I don’t control them.)

Theo: Hi there, they’ve left it up to me to tell you about Ami’s new book.
*sighs
Not sure why they chose me to go first because which man wants to tell the world that he’s fake married to the woman he’s been in love with for the past seven years?
And the reason?
To protect the son she had with the man she chose instead of you.
Who am I?
So who am I? The name’s Theodore McPherson, but I go by Theo. My sister Brianna is one of the few people to call me Theodore, usually when she wants to annoy me.
*lifts shoulders
The thing of it is, I like my name, but something about the way she says it always gets my goat. Anyway, what was I saying? Right.
I’m a career firefighter and a part-time fitness instructor. And as of a few weeks ago, I’m Gabrielle’s husband and Caleb’s stepfather.
*grins
Man, I’m glad he’s not a girl as I wouldn’t want to be the evil stepfather…
Or does that only apply to stepmothers? Obviously, I need to get my fairytale knowledge up.

I’ve already told you I married Gabrielle to protect her son…
But did I tell you why?
*rolls eyes
Because her former in-laws think it’s okay to take Gaby’s child from her.
*scoffs
As if it isn’t bad enough she lost her husband.
*holds up a hand
I get that the Wallaces lost their son, but in my opinion, they should try to protect their relationship with Gaby by drawing closer to her. Not trying to destroy it by wrenching her son away.
*flips out his phone and scrolls through his gallery
Look at them. Aren’t they the perfect family? Why would anyone want to hurt them?
*shakes head in disbelief
