Her Christmas Redemption by Toni Shiloh is a sweet read set in the small town of Willow Springs.
Vivian’s move to the town was the perfect opportunity for her to create a life that was far removed from the mistakes of her past. It does not involve dating or finding love. Which is just fine with Michael because he’s not interested on a relationship either.
Vivian and Michael are thrust together to work on the town’s annual Christmas wishes and their friendship blossomed as they worked together.
I loved the idea of the Christmas wishes program–of a town coming together to gift the people in their midst with their hearts desire. This element added a sweet touch to the story by highlighting the giving spirit of Christmas.
I enjoyed seeing Michael and Vivian’s friendship grow as well as the way her newly found faith was able to rekindle his. Michael had been a Christian all his life and like so many of us, had gotten a little jaded. It took a new believer to remind him of the privilege he had as a child of God ans reminded him to work on his relationship with God.
Her Christmas Redemption is about second chances and forgiveness. Readers will be reminded to bring their burdens to the Lord who is capable of bearing them all.
If you enjoy Hallmark Christmas movies, give this sweet book a read.
I received an advanced reader’s copy from the author; a positive review was not required.
