Monthly Wrap Up April

Monthly Wrap-Up: April 2023

April was a slow reading month for me as I’m in launch mode for His Perfect Family. This book releases on May 26, 2023 and so much of my efforts were focused on building buzz for Theo and Gaby’s story.

Books Read in April

Still, I read five books and am about two-thirds of the way through The Castle Keepers (you’ll get my synopsis and review of that book next month).

The Wrong Seat by Natasha D Frazier

In this second installment of The Langston Sisters series, Ava tries to resist her bodyguard while they try to figure out who wants her dead. Read my full review.

Expired Hope by Lisa Phillips and Megan Besing

Someone wants to hurt Natalie and Macon has made it his duty to protect her. Can they get through their challenges to see if they have a chance at forever? Read my full review.

She Reigns by Tarah-Lynn Saint-Elien

God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. But sometimes, we have to push through the issues that life throws at us to get to the truth. Read my full review.

Break of Day by Colleen Coble

An enthralling wrap-up to a magnificent series. This book was intense, and sometimes I had to take a breather in order to get through it. Read my full review.

Censorshipped by Savannah Scott

This was a fun, slow-burn romance about a guy falling for his best friend’s sister. Some parts of this book were laugh-out-loud funny. Read my full review.

Have you read any of these books? What were the books you read in April?
