I enjoyed this first installment of the Bridger Brothers. Fenna was a sympathetic character. Ms. Condie did a fantastic job of portraying Fenna’s longing for home and desire to be loved and needed for herself.
Will was a sweetheart. He waited patiently for Fenna to remember him or at least show some sign that she was willing to get to know him.
As you read To Win His Wife, it clear that Will and Fenna belong together–even if she wishes to pretend otherwise.
The bond between the Bridger family was so sweet, it will make you wish to be adopted by them.
Readers of To Win His Wife will be reminded that those you count as family aren’t always related to you by blood. Sometimes, families are forged by the bonds between you.
